Originally from San José, California, Joelle currently lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with her husband, Gray. She studied at Azusa Pacific University and Mars Hill College, completing her B.A. in Spanish, Studio Art, and Graphic Design in 2006. She serves full-time as Director of Communications for Helps Ministries, based in Asheville, North Carolina.
